Our annual Beach Ride is a fun and unique event. It provides an opportunity to appreciate the Atlantic and our sandy shores from horseback! Participants can join as riders ($75) on their own horses or can join in the fun as nonriders ($45). ALL participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and lunch provided by Chicl-Fil-A. Water will be available for horses, please bring a bucket. The ride is scheduled to start at 8:00 AM and will finish by 2:00 PM. Registration cutoff date: Must be received by October 31, 2025
FVBMP is not able to provide horses for the event.

Ride Date: Saturday November 7, 2026
RAIN OR SHINE, NO REFUNDS, MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED
Location: Little Island Park, 3820 S. Sandpiper Rd. Virginia Beach, VA
Times: The gates open at 8:00 am, MANDATORY ride orientation 9:45 at the shelter, and the ride starts at 10:00 am. All horses must be off the beach by 2:00 pm. Please plan accordingly.
Ride Route: Escorted course on scenic Little Island Park.
Registration cutoff date: Must be received by October 31, 2025
RULES FOR RIDERS
1. Riders must wear a riding helmet
2. Limited to the first 125 riders.
3. Copy of negative Coggins required (mail or email a copy and bring one on ride day).
4. Registration form, payment, and completed and signed liability release forms must be received by the cutoff date. Your spot is not confirmed until we have all signed forms and payment. If you are registering for multiple participants, you must include a liability waiver for each participant.
